Come see St. Louis Sound: Hip Hop on March 29th. Doors open 7 pm, show starts 8pm.

When rap first moved from the street corner to the radio, local St. Louis stations were there. Almost immediately, local performers began putting their own stamp on hip-hop and today, artists like Nelly, Murphy Lee, and Chingy have made St. Louis a hip-hop haven. Experience hip-hop with the St. Louis Sound Project on March 29th at the Ready Room with DJ Sir Thurl and artists Bates, LOOPRAT, and Saint Oeaux.

Bates is an award-winning St. Louis native who has been setting the tone for hip-hop artists for over a decade. Her brash and lyrical performance is unmatched, raising the bar for both men and women in the music industry.

LOOPRAT is a St. Louis-based jazz/rap collective pulling influence from the city’s rich history of jazz, blues, and soul.

Saint Oeaux, cofounder of Every Corner (a movement based out of St. Louis), is recognized throughout the St. Louis mainstream and underground circuits. He will be performing with local brass band Saint Boogie.
